ARKADIY YAKHNIS

He graduated from Machine Building Institute as a mechanical engineer and worked for around 10 years at an automotive plant.

In 1987 he came to Moscow and from 1987 to 1989 studied at the Screenwriters and Filmmakers Higher Courses affiliated with the State Institute of Cinematography. He received a diploma of a Screenwriter.

He directed his movies in Germany and Ukraine ("Shoes From America”, ZDF/arte), Russia (“Horror Which Is Always With You”),  Moldova (“Farewell”), Belarus (“Doorman”)
